In today’s rapidly evolving educational landscape, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is emerging as a powerful tool to enhance adult education and training. This presentation draws from a recent global AI survey led by the Institute for Adult Learning, in collaboration with researchers from around 20 countries.
We will examine the current landscape and adult educators’ perceptions of AI in the higher education, training and adult learning contexts. We will also explore how AI is impacting training and adult education practice, highlighting the need to build AI capabilities of educators to empower them to navigate the evolving digital landscape confidently.
Additionally, we will present practical examples and discuss strategies for private education leaders to harness AI effectively, creating more adaptive learning environments and enhancing the delivery of adult education.
